We’re Abby and Amy. A design obsessed dynamic duo, idea wranglers, and proud co-founders of a woman created and owned studio where creativity runs the show.
Abby is the creative brain behind the magic. Our lead interior designer with a sixth sense for style and an uncanny ability to make a space feel like home. She’s the one with the eye for color, the feel for flow, and a remarkable talent to make any room look like it belongs in a magazine and a family photo album.
Amy? She’s the behind the scenes wizard. Organizing, managing, and making sure the lights stay on and the furniture arrives before the holidays. She's equal parts creative and organized, which is basically design world sorcery.
Together, we mix passion, personality, and a little humor into everything we do. We believe great design should feel effortless. Like your home just woke up like this, and we’re here to make that happen (without the stress, or the paint fume headaches).

Abby Tallman
Co-Owner and Lead Interior Designer
Abby Tallman is a highly accomplished interior designer with a passion for design and commitment to excellence that’s led her to work on a wide range of projects across the globe, including in London, China, and throughout the United States.
Abby's journey in the world of interior design began at Minnesota State University, Mankato,
where she earned her Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design. Eager to gain international experience, she went to London to work with a renowned luxury lifestyle brand designer. This exposure to high-end design early in her career set the stage for her future success.
Upon returning to the United States, Abby joined a prestigious residential and commercial design firm in California. During her years there, she led and collaborated with designers on a diverse array of projects, honing her skills and developing a keen eye
for detail.
Since 2009, Abby has been an integral part of the Happy Interiors Group team. Her creativity, drive, and extensive knowledge of both residential and commercial design have made her an invaluable member of the firm.
Abby's ability to understand and bring to life her clients' dreams and goals has earned her a reputation as a designer who consistently delivers quality, aesthetically pleasing results.
When she's not creating beautiful spaces, Abby enjoys traveling, as well as spending time with family and friends. Her guilty pleasures include indulging in a glass of prosecco, savoring a delicious cupcake, and
dreaming of the day she can adopt a French bulldog.
With her diverse skill set, international experience, and unwavering dedication to her craft, Abby Tallman is a true leader in the world of interior design.

Amy Mathie
Co-Owner and Director of Operations
Amy Mathie is the driving force behind the scenes at Happy Interiors Group, ensuring that every project runs smoothly and efficiently. With years of experience in the design industry, Amy's expertise and dedication to client satisfaction have been instrumental in the success of the company she co-founded in 2009.
Amy's journey began at the University of Wisconsin-Stout, where she earned her Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design. During her time there, she also had the opportunity to study abroad for a semester in Wrexham, Wales, an experience that broadened her horizons and inspired her creativity.
After graduating, Amy worked in the design industry for several years, honing her skills and developing a keen
eye for detail. In 2009, she made the bold decision to transition into interior design and co-founded Happy Interiors Group.
As the Director of Operations, Amy is responsible for overseeing every aspect of the design process, from
initial consultation to final installation. Her strong relationships with vendors across the country enable her to procure the perfect products for each project, while
her meticulous attention to detail ensures that every
order is processed accurately and efficiently.
When she's not working on the computer, Amy enjoys traveling, socializing with friends, and spending time with her beloved Siamese cat, who can often be found sitting on her desk as she works. Her guilty pleasures include indulging in a mexican beer with chips and salsa, and taking trips to warmer climates.
With her passion, expertise, and unwavering commitment to her clients and her craft, Amy Mathie is truly the backbone of Happy Interiors Group.
